Ogame, bir oyuncunun ilk multiplayer oyunuysa yeni bir oyuncu için başlangıçta kafa karıştırıcı olabilir. Eğer bir oyuncunun oynadığı ilk tarayıcı oyunu değilse bile bazı soru ve sorunlarınız olacaktır. Biz hem yeni başlayanlar hem de tarayıcı oyunu deneyimi olmayan gruplar için daha keyifli ve kolay bir biçimde Ogame hakkında her şeyi öğrenmeniz için yardım etmek istiyoruz. Douglas Adam’ın dünyaca bilenen bir sözünü paylaşalım : "Lütfen panik yapmayın!" tüm bu yazılanları okuduktan sonra her şey daha net olacak.
Biz bu projeyi oyun içi eğitime yedek olarak yapmadık. Eğitim, imparatorluğunuzu kurarken oyun başında gerekli kilometre taşlarını almanızda yardımcı olacaktır. Fakat burada wikide resimli içeriklerle oyun için gerekli ve ileriki dönemlerde bilinmesi zorunlu olacak bilgileri bulacaksınız. Ogamede ileriki aşamalarda başarılı olmak için gerekli bilgiler burada olacaktır.
Eğer bu sizin ilk tarayıcı oyununuz ise o zaman oyunun bazı özel özelliklerine daha hızlı oyun oynamak ve oyunda belli bir sıralamada kalmak için ihtiyacınız olacak. Bazı geleneksel bilgisayar oyunlarının aksine ogame bilgisayar başında oturan olmasa da devam eder. Bu da siz uyurken veya işteyken binlerce oyuncunun oyunda çevrimiçi olması ve size saldırabilmelerinin mümkün olduğu anlamına gelir. Ogame herhangi bir yazılıma ihtiyaç duymaz, interneti ve web tarayıcısı olan herhangi bir bilgisayar, cep telefonu ve ya tablette oynanabilir.

Another important element can be found on the left side: The main menu. Using the buttons placed there you get access to every important submenu which you need to use time and time again. The page you are currently looking at is the overview and can be reached every time by clicking the correspondent button. Behind the buttons Resources, Facilities, Research, Shipyard and Defense one can unlock and build all the units, buildings and defenses, and conduct research. The further chapters of the tutorial will - in detail - deal with these. The button Galaxy leads to the map of all planets and systems of your Universe. This will gain more importance in further stages of the game. The message system can be found by clicking on the message icon underneath the resources. "Empire View" and "Recruit Officers" will be explained later in the chapter Premium özellikleri.

If you now take a look at the interface you may notice the planet register on the right side. In the beginning there is only one planet shown, in further stages of the game you are able to switch easily between your colonies. At the top end of the page one can find another ledge including the highscore, options and some other points. Analogue to this you can find some more links at the bottom of the page - you may want to pay attention to the Rules and the link to the Board.
Due to the fact that there is no real goal in OGame - which means the game does not end at a specific point by achieving something special - the gamer finds himself in a constant competition with every other gamer playing in the universe. To be successful you have to collect as much resources as possible and invest them into your account. In order to achieve this goal you can either mine them on your planets and trade with other players or you can assault your competitors and steal their resources. In the next chapter Temel ekonomi we are going to start by showing you how to build your first mine.
